Upcoming Events and Farm Experiences
Farm tours : $75
Tours typically take about 90 minutes and are led by Christina and Andrew. You will get to hear about our exciting experiences collaborating in this land project together as friends, and get a chance to pet and play with the animals here on the farm.
Tour price is for up to 4 people, each additional person is an additional $25
Hike with a horse : $100
This begins down at the barn where you would have time to groom and meet the horses, then Christina will guide you and one or both horses on a hike through the woods on our property. You could get a chance to lead the horse(s) and potentially ride- depending on your skill level with horses. The hike is an old road that runs through our mountains, so it’s pretty level and ease full, but the full outing is about a 2 mile hike that takes around 2 hours, depending on our pace. It’s a beautiful stroll.
For more than one person, add an additional $40 per person
Equine Connection Session : $60 per person
Join Christina and the horses down at the barn for one hour of equine connection. These sessions are focused on ground work and learning to feel confident communicating with the horses. We have a sweet young 2 year old horse and a 22 year old teddy bear horse for you to play with. Christina combines equine and yoga/coaching experience to help clients connect with the subtle energies of their bodies and the horses.
Private Sausage Making Demo : $50 per person
Book a private sausage making class with Andrew, the Applied Anatomist. He has over 3 years of experience running whole animal butcher shops on the East Coast and has traveled to Europe several times to learn regional histories of preparing and processing protein, having studied with the Italian norcini of the Garfagnana, one of the oldest pork producing micro terroirs of Tuscany. In the class, we will discuss different breeds and cuts of pork, the basics of sausage prep, and make a few different kinds of sausage to taste.
